We are incredibly proud of our all-rounder student, Lyn Qaisara Binti Nik Hisyam Amirul (5 Taat), who represented KYS and Malaysia at the 7th Asia Youth Summit 2026.

The summit gathered youth delegates from across the world to discuss global challenges, leadership and the future. Lyn Qaisara was selected as a delegate for Commission IV, presenting on Future Ready Skills and Jobs.

Throughout the summit, she shared ideas, debated with international delegates, proposed solutions, and helped draft the Commission’s final declaration.

Her courage, dedication and passion truly reflect the spirit of KYS — nurturing confident, compassionate and globally minded leaders.

Congratulations, Lyn Qaisara. You have made us proud.

ELASO and the Press Club held their meetings yesterday, warmly welcoming the newest members to their respective clubs. The Press Club continues its mission to foster media literacy from a young age, leveraging the latest technology in the ever-expanding field of news reporting. Meanwhile, ELASO aims to enhance English language proficiency through a series of workshops and participation in competitions at both local and international levels.

It was a pleasure to host the students and teachers of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Pucanganom for a purposeful learning exchange at KYS. During the visit, the students had the opportunity to experience a different learning environment, engage with KYS students, and gain firsthand exposure to AI and coding activities, music lessons, and art classes.

Beyond the classroom, the visit allowed for a meaningful exchange of ideas, culture, and values, fostering mutual understanding and broadening perspectives. The Muhammadiyah students also observed daily school routines within a calm and supportive campus, giving them insights into holistic learning in a boarding school setting.

We hope the experience inspired curiosity, confidence, and new aspirations as they continue their learning journey.

We are grateful to share that RM10,000 has been successfully raised for Thurga, and the funds have been handed over to her at her home in Simpang Bekoh, Jasin.

On behalf of Kolej Yayasan Saad Melaka, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to parents, teachers, staff, KYSERs, and all who contributed towards this fundraising effort, which was organised with the support of the Kolej Yayasan Saad Melaka Girl Guides. Your generosity and compassion have made a meaningful difference to Thurga and her family.

May all the kindness shown be returned to you in many ways. Thank you once again for your support and prayers.

True leadership is built through empathy, discipline, responsibility, and purpose. At KYS, we believe in nurturing high-achieving leaders by entrusting students with guidance, responsibility, and meaningful opportunities to lead. Chosen by the KYS community, the KYS Prefects Board exists not merely to uphold discipline, but to empower, inspire, and shape the leaders of tomorrow.
